Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 oz
- soup can milk - 1/2 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated
- macaroni uncooked - 2 c
- can Cheddar cheese soup - 1 oz
- small onion, chopped optional - 1 item
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni in 3 quarts boiling water; add 1 tablespoon salt (optional). Drain and rinse in cold water. Mix macaroni, soups, milk, 1 cup cheese and onion together. Put in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Keep covered until last 10 minutes. Don't hesitate to use extra cheese.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
