  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • dry mustard optional - 1/2 tsp
  • American or shredded Cheddar cheese, divided about 2 c - 8 oz
  • elbow macaroni, cooked 6 minutes and drained - 8 oz
