Ingredients/Components
- paprika - 1 item
- skim milk - 3/4 c
- chopped onions - 1/4 c
- elbow macaroni
- shredded sharp American cheese
- chopped, canned pimento - 2 Tbsp
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni using package directions; drain. Simmer chopped onions in 1/4 cup water, covered, 5 minutes. Add skim milk and cheese. Cook and stir until cheese melts. Pour over macaroni. Add pimentos and mix well. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350° for 35 minutes. Dash with paprika. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
