Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Carnation evaporated milk - 1 c
- Old English cheese sharp, grated - 8 oz
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Melt the butter and stir in the flour. Let cream sauce come to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese. Add cooked macaroni. Pour this mixture into a 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole dish. Make sure dish has been greased. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
