Macaroni and cheese
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 qt
- dry macaroni
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- eggs - 2 item
- American cheese to taste - 1 item
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Bring water to boil and add salt. Add macaroni and cook about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain, saving 1 cup of the water. In bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add macaroni and mix well. (May need to add saved water so dish won't be too dry.)Layer casserole dish with macaroni mixture followed by 2 slices of cheese. Repeat layers with remaining macaroni mixture and cheese slices until all is used, ending with cheese slices on top. Bake at 350° until golden brown.
