Ingredients/Components
- water
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 to
- chopped onion - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- elbow macaroni - 2 c
- chopped bell pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make macaroni and beef casserole:
In a heavy skillet, brown ground beef until it loses its redness. Remove ground beef from skillet. You need 3 tablespoons of drippings. (Add oil or shortening if needed.) Add to it the bell pepper, onion and elbow macaroni. Cook until macaroni turns yellow. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender.You may substitute soy sauce for the Worcestershire sauce. Makes large dish.
