Ingredients/Components
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- carrot, julienned - 1 item
- chicken breast - 1/2 item
- wonton wrappers - 1 pkg
- small can bamboo shoots - 1 item
- medium potatoes, julienned - 2 item
- small cabbage, julienned - 1/4 item
- small can water chestnuts, drained, sliced into slivers - 1 item
How to make lumpia:
Cook chicken breast until tender, do not trim fat or skin. Remove from broth and cut into very small pieces, return to broth. Add bouillon cubes and simmer until dissolved.While chicken is cooking prepare vegetables. Add to chicken and bring to a boil, remove from heat. Cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Drain through a large sieve.
When cool, fill wonton wrappers, roll, tuck ends, seal with water. Fry until golden brown in hot oil. Drain. Serve with favorite sauce.
