Ingredients/Components
- salt
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- wine vinegar
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- rosemary - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, finely chopped - 1 item
How to make london broil:
Marinade:1 tsp. salt1 tsp. black pepper1/4 tsp. basil1/4 tsp. rosemary1 clove garlic, finely chopped1 medium onion, finely chopped1 1/2 Tbsp. wine vinegar3 Tbsp. salad oil Combine all marinade ingredients in a glass bowl. Brush both sides of steak with marinade. Let stand in marinade mixture at least 2 hours, but the longer the better.Broil 3-inches from heat for 5 minutes, turn, brush with remaining juices and broil on other side for 4 minutes.
Slice steak diagonally across grain, thin as possible. It is helpful to do this on a wooden cutting board. Spoon pan juices over meat. Delicious! Great for the grill.
