Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 4 c
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- food coloring - 1 item
- flavoring - 1 item
How to make lollipops:
Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in a heavy saucepan. Cook, without stirring, until a candy thermometer shows a reading of 300°.For a different coloring and flavoring, pour the hot syrup into separate warm pans. Stir in coloring and flavoring only long enough to mix. Put wooden sticks in buttered candy molds or tiny pill cups. Pour syrup into each. Cool and wrap in plastic wrap.
