  • milk - 1 qt
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • light cream - 1 qt
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • dry sherry - 2 Tbsp
  • cooked lobster meat - 1 lb
  • pinch of nutmeg - 1 item

How to make lobster soup:

Melt butter in heavy pot. Add paprika, nutmeg and lobster. Cut into pieces. Cook slowly for 10 minutes. Heat milk and cream. Do not boil. Add to lobster. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Add sherry to taste just before serving. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
