Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • fat - 2 Tbsp
  • salt or to taste
  • large onion - 1 item
  • pepper or to taste - 1/4 tsp
  • sliced liver

How to make liver and onions:

Dip liver in flour and brown on one side in fat in frypan. Slice onion. Turn liver. Add salt and pepper. Cover with onions. Add water; cover pan tightly and cook over low heat, 20 to 30 minutes or until liver is tender.
