Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- applesauce - 3/4 c
- sugar, mixed with 1/4 tsp - 1/2 c
How to make little applesauce muffins:
In large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time until light and fluffy. Beat in applesauce. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir just enough to moisten. Spoon into 36 greased tea-sized muffin cups. Bake in preheated 425° oven about 15 minutes. While warm, dip tops into melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
