Ingredients/Components

  • 1/2 cup sugar - 1 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour - 2 item
  • 1/3 cup Wesson oil - 1 item
  • eggs - 3 item
  • cup buttermilk - 1 item
  • Soda - 1 tsp
  • Cream cheese
  • stick margarine, softened - 1 item
  • cup chopped nuts - 1 item
  • box 10X sugar - 1 item

How to make lisa's red velvet cake:

Icing:1 lg. Cream cheese1 stick margarine, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 cup chopped nuts1 box 10X sugar Mix all ingredients except food coloring. Add food coloring last. Makes 3 layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Prepare icing. Mix together cream cheese, butter, vanilla, nuts and 10X sugar. Spread between layers, on top and then sides of cake.
