Lima bean casserole



  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • celery, diced - 1 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • tomato puree - 1 c
  • fresh lima beans

How to make lima bean casserole:

Cook beans; drain. Add celery, onion, green pepper and tomato puree. Season with salt, pepper and melted butter. Turn into well buttered casserole. Sprinkle buttered crumbs on top. Bake in 350° oven until vegetables are tender and brown.
