Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- celery, diced - 1 c
- green pepper, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- tomato puree - 1 c
- fresh lima beans
How to make lima bean casserole:
Cook beans; drain. Add celery, onion, green pepper and tomato puree. Season with salt, pepper and melted butter. Turn into well buttered casserole. Sprinkle buttered crumbs on top. Bake in 350° oven until vegetables are tender and brown.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Beans.
