Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- skim milk
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- plus 2 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- fat-free cream cheese - 2 Tbsp
- fettuccine, cooked - 4 c
- small chopped garlic - 2 item
How to make light fettuccine alfredo:
In a medium saucepan, whisk milk, garlic, cornstarch and cream cheese. Bring to boil, whisk constantly. Reduce heat; simmer 2 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan and Molly McButter. Pour over noodles. Salt and pepper. Serves 4.Per Serving: 5 g. fat, 310 cal., 17 g. pro., 48 g. carb., 410 mg. sod., 10 mg. chol.
