Ingredients/Components
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pure vanilla - 1 tsp
- cup applesauce - 1 item
- eggs or egg substitute - 2 item
- cup Hershey chocolate cocoa - 1/3 item
- cup Turbinado brown sugar - 1 item
- cup pure maple syrup - 1/4 item
- cup powdered milk or skim milk add 1/4 cup vinegar or 1 cup buttermilk - 1 item
- cups whole wheat pastry flour - 2 item
How to make light chocolate cake:
Put wet ingredients in bowl. Add dry ingredients and milk. Beat. Pour in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.You can add walnuts and fat free chocolate chips.
