Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- cold water - 3 qt
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, minced - 1 item
- or 1 lb - 2 c
- thin slice garlic - 1 item
How to make lentil soup:
Saute margarine with onion, celery and garlic. Add parsley, salt and pepper. Add water and simmer for 2 hours. Add 1/2 pound ham shank, if desired.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Pork.
