Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
How to make lemonade cookies:
Dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in lemon juice and water. Cream remaining 1/2 cup sugar with butter until fluffy. Add eggs; beat until smooth. Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mix alternately with lemonade. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
