Lemonade cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• butter - 1/2 c
• water - 2 Tbsp
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• baking powder
• lemon juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make lemonade cookies:

Dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in lemon juice and water. Cream remaining 1/2 cup sugar with butter until fluffy. Add eggs; beat until smooth. Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mix alternately with lemonade. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. When cookies cool, put 2 cookies together with Butter Frosting.
