Lemonade cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- box lemon cake mix - 1 item
- box lemon instant pudding small box - 1 item
How to make lemonade cake:
Beat ingredients 4 minutes. Pour into well greased and floured tube pan. Bake 50 minutes at 350°.While cake is baking, mix together 6 ounces lemonade concentrate (comes frozen, do not dilute) and 2 cups powdered sugar.
When you take the cake out of the oven, let cool 5 minutes before pouring on mixture of lemonade and powdered sugar. During this 5 minutes, poke holes with an ice pick or fork in the cake. You need lots of holes but don't tear cake apart while doing this. Pour mixture over cake well so that all holes are well filled and cake is very moist. LET SIT ALL NIGHT IN THE PAN. The next morning, invert pan onto cake plate. Let it ease out, with maybe a little tapping on pan if problem getting cake out. DO NOT FORCE OUT!
