Lemon sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- grated lemon rind - 1 tsp
- juice of 1 lemon
How to make lemon sauce:
In saucepan, mix first 3 ingredients. Stir in water and cook, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Serve hot on puddings or breads. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
