Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- egg whites - 4 item
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- sifted plain flour - 1/2 c
- lemon rind optional - 1 tsp
How to make lemon pudding cake:
Beat and mix well the egg yolks, lemon juice, rind and butter; set aside. Mix sugar, flour and salt. Measure milk. Whip egg whites. Add sugar mixture alternately with the milk. Fold into beaten egg whites. Pour into 8-inch square pan. Place this pan in a pan of water. Bake for 45 minutes in 350° oven. Pudding will be in the bottom of pan.
