Lemon pie



  • sugar
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • cornstarch - 6 Tbsp
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • boiling water
  • margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/2 c
  • 9-inch baked pie shell

How to make lemon pie:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add lemon juice, cold water and egg yolks; stir in boiling water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Stir in margarine until melted. Remove from heat. Pour into pie shell.
