- sugar
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 6 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- cold water - 1/2 c
- boiling water
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- 9-inch baked pie shell
How to make lemon pie:
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add lemon juice, cold water and egg yolks; stir in boiling water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Stir in margarine until melted. Remove from heat. Pour into pie shell.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
