Lemon glazed persimmon bars
Ingredients/Components
- persimmon pulp, mixed with 1 tsp - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- sugar - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- flour
- salt - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- chopped dates optional - 8 oz
- Mix pulp and soda
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
How to make lemon glazed persimmon bars:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix pulp and soda. In a large bowl lightly beat egg. Stir in sugar, oil and pulp. Mix dry ingredients separately and then add to wet ingredients. Add nuts and dates. Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
