Lemon glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- boiling water - 1 item
- medium carrots
- thin slices lemon - 4 item
How to make lemon glazed carrots:
Wash carrots; pare. Place in large saucepan with salt and enough boiling water to cover. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Melt butter in large skillet. Stir in sugar. Add lemon slices and carrots; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
