- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- cup boiling water - 1 item
- real lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- cup Crisco oil - 3/4 item
- Glaze1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
How to make lemon glaze cake:
Glaze1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 2-4 Tbsp. real lemon juice Combine cake mix, oil, eggs and lemon juice. Beat slowly for 2 minutes, increasing speed until mixed.Boil 1 cup water. Add jello, mixing thoroughly. add slowly to batter on low speed until mixed.
Bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Glaze: Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice until thoroughly mixed. Mixture should be thin. Use half of mixture and spread over cake.
Thicken with more powdered sugar, and add remaining mixture to cake.
