Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- crushed graham crackers
- Filling:2 eggs, separated
How to make lemon freeze:
Filling:2 eggs, separated1 can sweetened condensed milk1/2 c. lemon juice3 Tbsp. sugar Crust: Combine crumbs of graham crackers, 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar and margarine. Press half of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan (save other half for top).Filling: Beat yolks until thick and yellow. Combine with condensed milk. Add lemon juice. (You may add a drop of yellow food coloring to enhance lemon color.) Stir until thick. Beat whites until thick and stiff but not dry. Add 3 tablespoons sugar and fold into lemon mixture. Pour into crumb crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze until firm.
