Lemon dessert



  • whipped cream - 1 item
  • beaten egg yolks - 2 item
  • crushed vanilla wafers half to be used for bottom of dish, other half for the top - 1/2 lb
  • can Eagle Brand sweetened milk, beaten good - 1 item
  • juice and rind of 1 big lemon

How to make lemon dessert:

Add egg yolks, juice and rind to beaten milk. Pour this over bottom layer of crumbs. Top this with a thin layer of whipped cream. Cover with remaining crumbs and chill.

May be made a day ahead and stored in refrigerator.
