Lemon chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chicken breasts - 6 item
- tarragon - 1/2 tsp
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- dash of Accent - 1 item
- vermouth - 3 Tbsp
How to make lemon chicken:
Remove meat from bones and cube in 2-inch squares. Saute chicken cubes in 3 tablespoons butter until lightly browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from pan. Deglaze pan with vermouth. Mix cornstarch, broth and tarragon. Add to pan drippings. Cook, stirring, until thickened and clear. Add lemon, remaining butter, garlic powder, dash of salt, white and black pepper.
