Lemon cheese bars
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- confectioners sugar
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- warm water - 2 Tbsp
- grated lemon rind - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter, melted
- juice of 1 lemon
- stick butter, softened - 1 item
- box lemon cake mix - 1 item
- room temperature egg - 1 item
How to make lemon cheese bars:
Glaze:1/4 c. butter, melted1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind2 Tbsp. warm water juice of 1 lemon Mix first three base ingredients and press into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix next three base ingredients and pour over crumb layer. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes or until light brown and pulls away from sides of pan. It always looks like it has fallen.Mix all ingredients of glaze together and pour over base ingredients. Let cool.
