  • cup flour - 1/4 item

  • cup milk - 1 item
  • eggs separated - 2 item

  • cup butter melted - 1/4 item
  • 9 inch unbaked pie crust - 1 item
  • large lemon juiced and zested - 1 item

How to make lemon cake pie:

Preheat oven to 350°. Bake pie crust for 5 minutes. Cool. Combine sugar, flour, butter, salt and egg yolks; beat until smooth; add lemon juice and zest. beat at low, then add milk. Beat eggs whites until stiff. Fold them into lemon mixture. Pour into pie shell. Bake 40 minutes until center is set.
