- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- finely grated lemon peel - 2 tsp
How to make lemon bread:
In a mixing bowl, beat together the egg, milk, oil, lemon peel and lemon juice. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add egg mixture to this; stir until moistened. Pour into 2 greased 6 x 3 x 2-inch loaf pans. Bake in 350&deRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Oven.
