- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- finely chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour, sifted
- rind of 1 lemon, grated
- baking powder sift with flour
- salt sift with flour - 1/2 tsp
How to make lemon bread:
Icing:1/3 c. sugar juice of 1 lemon (approximately 3 Tbsp.) Blend sugar and butter well. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with flour. Stir in lemon rind and pecans. Bake in bread pan inRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Oven.
