- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 6 Tbsp
- lemon rind, grated - 1 item
- Glaze: lemon juice
How to make lemon bread:
Glaze: lemon juice1/2 c. sugar Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, lemon rind and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add nuts. Bake in loaf pan at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Glaze: Mix lemon juice and sugar together for glaze. Pour over hot loaf; cool.
