Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• butter, melted - 6 Tbsp
• lemon rind, grated - 1 item
• Glaze: lemon juice

How to make lemon bread:

Glaze: lemon juice1/2 c. sugar Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, lemon rind and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add nuts. Bake in loaf pan at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

Glaze: Mix lemon juice and sugar together for glaze. Pour over hot loaf; cool.
