  • salt
  • water - 6 c
  • stalks celery, sliced - 2 item
  • medium onions, sliced - 2 item
  • medium carrots, sliced - 3 item
  • chicken bouillon - 3 or
  • poultry seasoning or sage - 1/4 tsp
  • bones and trimming from 1 turkey
  • barley or rice uncooked - 1/2 c

How to make leftover turkey soup:

In a large saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients; simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours. Remove bones and cut off meat, return meat to the broth. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
