Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water - 6 c
- stalks celery, sliced - 2 item
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- medium carrots, sliced - 3 item
- chicken bouillon - 3 or
- poultry seasoning or sage - 1/4 tsp
- bones and trimming from 1 turkey
- barley or rice uncooked - 1/2 c
How to make leftover turkey soup:
In a large saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients; simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours. Remove bones and cut off meat, return meat to the broth. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Turkey, Stocks.
