Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- chopped onions - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- chopped mushrooms - 3/4 c
- leftover turkey, cubed - 1 item
- to 1 1/2-inch thick slices of Italian bread - 1 item
- turkey gravy leftover or canned - 1 item
How to make leftover turkey:
Scoop out bread, leaving 1/2-inch on sides and bottom. Brush with melted butter on top and sides of bread. Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat in a saucepan until warm. Serve over toasted bread slices.
