Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • chopped onions - 3/4 c
  • chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
  • stick melted butter - 1 item
  • chopped mushrooms - 3/4 c
  • leftover turkey, cubed - 1 item
  • to 1 1/2-inch thick slices of Italian bread - 1 item
  • turkey gravy leftover or canned - 1 item

How to make leftover turkey:

Scoop out bread, leaving 1/2-inch on sides and bottom. Brush with melted butter on top and sides of bread. Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat in a saucepan until warm. Serve over toasted bread slices.
