  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • water - 4 c
  • dried basil - 1 tsp
  • potatoes, peeled and cubed - 2 item
  • chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 3 item
  • leeks, thinly sliced - 6 item
  • slices bacon, coarsely chopped - 4 item

How to make leek soup:

Cook bacon in a Dutch oven over medium heat 5 minutes. Add leeks. Saute 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add water; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thicken
