- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- celery, diced - 1 c
- green pepper, diced - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 4 oz
- slices bacon, cooked and crumbled - 8 item
- head lettuce - 1 item
- hard-boiled eggs, diced - 4 item
- can English peas - 1 item
How to make layered vegetable salad:
Layer ingredients as listed: lettuce, celery, eggs, peas, green pepper, onion and bacon. Mix sugar with mayonnaise; put over other ingredients. Sprinkle cheese over mayonnaise; let set in refrigerator overnight.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Salad dressings.
