Layered tostada bake
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- yellow corn meal - 1/2 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 1 c
- can refried beans - 1 oz
- envelope taco seasoning mix - 1 1/4
- sliced, ripe olives - 1/2 c
- can whole green chilies, drained, seeded and chopped - 1 oz
How to make layered tostada bake:
Heat oven to 375°. Grease 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Cook and stir ground beef and onion in skillet until beef is brown; drain. Stir in seasoning mix, tomato sauce, beans, chili and olives. Mix baking mix, corn meal, milk, egg and oil until moistened; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread in dish. Spoon beef mixture over dough. Mix the remaining ingredients; spoon over beef mixture. Bake 30 minutes; let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Tex Mex.
