  • milk - 1/4 c
  • dairy sour cream - 1 c
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • yellow corn meal - 1/2 c
  • Bisquick baking mix - 1 c
  • can refried beans - 1 oz
  • envelope taco seasoning mix - 1 1/4
  • sliced, ripe olives - 1/2 c
  • can whole green chilies, drained, seeded and chopped - 1 oz

How to make layered tostada bake:

Heat oven to 375°. Grease 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Cook and stir ground beef and onion in skillet until beef is brown; drain. Stir in seasoning mix, tomato sauce, beans, chili and olives. Mix baking mix, corn meal, milk, egg and oil until moistened; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread in dish. Spoon beef mixture over dough. Mix the remaining ingredients; spoon over beef mixture. Bake 30 minutes; let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
