Layered taco dip
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 item
- chopped onions - 1 item
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- tomatoes, chopped - 1 item
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- can refried beans - 1 lb
- lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- jarred salsa - 1 item
How to make layered taco dip:
In bottom of 8-inch square serving dish, mix refried beans with 1/2 package taco seasoning and onions as desired. Spread evenly.In small bowl, mix cream cheese with sour cream and rest of taco seasoning. Add a few tablespoons of salsa. Spread this over bean layer. Chill.
Before serving, sprinkle chopped onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese, just like a taco. Spoon additional salsa over top in spots.
Note: If desired, add a layer of guacamole after sour cream layer. Use as many of the toppings as you like.
