  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1 item
  • chopped onions - 1 item
  • chopped green pepper - 1 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • tomatoes, chopped - 1 item
  • taco seasoning - 1 pkg
  • can refried beans - 1 lb
  • lettuce, shredded - 1 item
  • jarred salsa - 1 item

How to make layered taco dip:

In bottom of 8-inch square serving dish, mix refried beans with 1/2 package taco seasoning and onions as desired. Spread evenly.

In small bowl, mix cream cheese with sour cream and rest of taco seasoning. Add a few tablespoons of salsa. Spread this over bean layer. Chill.

Before serving, sprinkle chopped onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese, just like a taco. Spoon additional salsa over top in spots.

Note: If desired, add a layer of guacamole after sour cream layer. Use as many of the toppings as you like.
