Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- sliced green onion - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- thinly sliced celery - 1 c
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 item
- head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- bacon, fried and crumbled - 3/4 lb
- hard-boiled eggs, mashed - 3 item
How to make layered salad:
Place lettuce in shallow dish. Top with onion, celery and water chestnuts. Cover with a layer of frozen peas, followed by a layer of mayonnaise. Sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan, salt and garlic. Cover and chill 24 hours. At serving time top with boiled eggs and bacon.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
