Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- diced green pepper - 1/2 c
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- grated cheese - 4 oz
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- head lettuce - 1 item
- eggs, boiled and sliced - 4 item
- slices bacon, cooked and diced - 8 item
How to make layered salad:
Tear lettuce into bite size pieces in a 9 x 12-inch dish. Layer the next 6 ingredients in order given. Next, mix mayo and sugar; spread on top. Top with grated cheese. Chill for 24 hours before serving. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
