Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- frozen peas - 1 pkg
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- shredded cheese - 1 pkg
- small chopped onion - 1 item
- jar bacon bits - 1/2 item
- large head lettuce - 1 item
How to make layered salad:
Tear head of lettuce into bite size pieces into bottom of large glass bowl. Add in layers: peas, green pepper, celery and onion. Spread mayonnaise over all. Sprinkle with sugar. Layer bacon bits and Cheddar cheese. Cover with Saran Wrap first, then cover with foil. Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
