Ingredients/Components
- head of lettuce, broken - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- onion, diced 1 green bunch - 1 item
- 10 ounce package frozen peas thawed, but not cooked - 1 item
- 4 ounce package sharp cheddar cheese, grated - 1 item
- to 8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled - 6 item
- salt - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese grated - 1 item
How to make layered salad:
In a bowl, layer first 8 ingredients in order given. Chill for 24 hours. When ready to serve, salt to taste; toss with parmesan cheese. Serves 8 to 10. Must be made a day ahead.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
