Layered lettuce salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 oz
- head lettuce - 1 item
- sliced grated onion - 1/2 c
How to make layered lettuce salad:
Shred lettuce and layer with onion, water chestnuts, celery and peas. Spread with mayonnaise over the top. Sprinkle with sugar, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese and salt. Chill 24 hours before serving. Garnish with 3 hard-boiled eggs, bacon bits and tomato wedges. Sprinkle parsley flakes and paprika as a finishing touch.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Pork.
