Layered chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- green onions, thinly sliced - 1/4 c
- cucumber, thinly sliced - 1/2 item
- cubed chicken - 2 c
- small head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- frozen peas, thawed and drained - 1 pkg
How to make layered chicken salad:
In a small bowl mix ingredients together. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over peas. Cover dish and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.When serving, garnish salad with cherry tomatoes, cashews or peanuts.
