Lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- Parmesan cheese - 2/3 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
- lasagna noodles - 1/2 lb
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat lightly in olive oil with garlic and onion. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to boil and simmer, covered, 2 or 3 hours. Cook noodles in salted, boiling water until tender. Drain noodles. In a shallow baking dish, put a layer of noodles, a layer of meat mixture and a layer of each kind of cheese. Repeat layers and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
