  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • basil - 1 Tbsp
  • grated Parmesan - 1/2 c
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • cans tomato paste - 2 oz
  • Ricotta cheese - 3 c
  • Italian sausage - 1 lb
  • grated Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
  • lasagna noodles - 10 oz
  • can tomato puree - 1 (1

How to make lasagna:

Brown meat slowly. Spoon off excess fat. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cook noodles until tender, drain and rinse. Beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella. Layer 1/2 noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Spread with 1/2 Ricotta filling; add 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat. Bake at 325° for about 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
