Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 10 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 1/2 c
- lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- m - 1/4 tsp
- small curd cottage cheese - 1 pt
- celery flakes - 1/2 tsp
- can mushrooms with juice - 1 oz
- can Franco-American beef gravy - 1 1/2
- jar Ragu with meat - 15 oz
- to 3 minced garlic cloves - 2 item
- each: basil, thyme, oregano, marjoram and rosemary - 1/4 tsp
How to make lasagna:
Brown onion, garlic and ground beef in oil. Stir in salt, pepper, herbs, celery, m.s.g. and gravy. Cook over low heat about 15 to 30 minutes. Thicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch or flour in small amount of water. Cook lasagna according to package directions. Spread small amount of gravy on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place layer of 1/2 cooked noodles, 1/2 grated Mozzarella cheese, all of cottage cheese and 1/2 of Parmesan cheese. Cover with 1/2 remaining gravy, rest of lasagna noodles and Mozzarella cheese. Top with rest of gravy and grated Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
