Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 2/3 oz
  • salt
  • garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • small onion, diced - 1 item
  • container Ricotta cheese - 1 (15
  • crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomatoes - 1 oz
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • bay leaf, crushed - 1 item

How to make lasagna:

Cook beef and onions until juices evaporate. Add tomatoes and next 8 ingredients. Heat until boiling, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally. Spoon off any fat on top of sauce. (Cook noodles.)

In a 9 x 13-inch pan arrange half of noodles, overlapping to fit. Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl combine eggs and Ricotta cheese. Spoon 1/2 of mixture over noodles. Sprinkle 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese. Top with 1/2 of sauce. Repeat layers. Bake until hot through, approximately 1 hour. Remove from oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
