Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 2/3 oz
- salt
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- container Ricotta cheese - 1 (15
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- bay leaf, crushed - 1 item
How to make lasagna:
Cook beef and onions until juices evaporate. Add tomatoes and next 8 ingredients. Heat until boiling, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally. Spoon off any fat on top of sauce. (Cook noodles.)In a 9 x 13-inch pan arrange half of noodles, overlapping to fit. Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl combine eggs and Ricotta cheese. Spoon 1/2 of mixture over noodles. Sprinkle 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese. Top with 1/2 of sauce. Repeat layers. Bake until hot through, approximately 1 hour. Remove from oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
