Lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- water - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- oregano - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- lasagna noodles, cooked and drained - 1/2 lb
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- Velveeta cheese, thinly sliced - 1/2 lb
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat; drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, garlic and seasonings. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. In a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, layer half of noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella, Velveeta and Parmesan. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Note: I make a double recipe and put one pan in freezer.
