Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • water - 1/3 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 c
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • lean ground beef - 1 lb
  • lasagna noodles, cooked and drained - 1/2 lb
  • can tomatoes - 1 lb
  • Velveeta cheese, thinly sliced - 1/2 lb

How to make lasagna:

Brown meat; drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, garlic and seasonings. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. In a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, layer half of noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella, Velveeta and Parmesan. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.

Note: I make a double recipe and put one pan in freezer.
